SOWAN: Sebagai Sebuah Proses Mencapai Lumen

Sowan is a part of the Javanese tradition that remains deeply ingrained today, involving visiting, seeking guidance, and showing respect to those who are older or more experienced. This exhibition carries a different concept, not merely a one-way event where ideas are monopolized by the curator or individual artists, but rather creates a collaborative space. 

Here, everyone is involved. Whether it be artists, mentors, or even the audience. Together they create new ideas and visuals. We believe that art is a living dialogue, not a rigid monologue. It’s not just about the artwork or the music, but about the journey, the meetings, and the stories that will continue to live on. It’s not just an exhibition. It’s a space of radiant encounters. It’s a form of the process of reaching Lumen through Sowan.
