Rahayu Retnaningrum presents “Space of Consciousness”, a project highlighting the contrast between nature and urban landscapes that have shaped her daily life. Bringing together 8 works, this exhibition offers a window into a utopian world where seemingly opposing concepts interact: nature and architecture, permanence and instability, stillness and movement.
Mixing road signs, scaffolding, animals, and plants, Rahayu Retnaningrum explores how these elements coexist in an ever-changing urban landscape. In doing so, she creates a space devoid of human figures, where nature and artifacts enter into an intimate dialogue.
